Hello!! I’m so excited. This past Tuesday I got to tour a local nursery that is near and dear to my heart. Groff’s Millpond and Nursery in Pitman, NJ. I grew up coming here and have been taken by their beautiful plants and displays for so many years. Fran was kind enough to show me around all of their beautiful plants and shrubs, amazing and gifts, candles, food, so many things to enjoy in their Millhouse gift shop. Such great and unique items to give that special garden lover this Christmas. Shopping local and supporting local business is so important to me.

They have a wonderful Santa here, hay rides, just a fun festive atmosphere for the whole family. And as Fran said, as long as you can get that shovel in the ground, you can plant some beautiful things. You can see they carry my go-to brand, the full line of Espoma Organic to choose from. And, I couldn’t help but grab some yummy popcorn (which I may have eaten on the car ride home, haha!) You’ll see in the end of the video some photos of a couple gifts we brought. My Mom was here with me, and she gave me the little retro style reindeer you can see on my shelf with my salt glaze pottery. I couldn’t resist picking up a couple of the reproduction Santa and reindeer molds for my kitchen. Ah! I just love it. This place is one to add to your local holiday shopping, it’s worth the drive if you are further away. And in Spring and Summer, just packed with amazing plants and shrubs. You might remember the tall miscanthus grass I show in a couple of my videos by my back gate, that beauty was from Groff’s.
