Hello there! Continuing with the local nursery love, this Monday I got to tour another nursery that I hold dear to my heart. Bloomers Home & Garden Center in Washington Township, NJ. I really enjoy visiting Bloomers and have gotten such great and unique items here. Shopping local and supporting local business is so important to me. I’ll be back in the Spring and can’t wait to show you their gorgeous assortment of plants and shrubs!

Julio gave me such a wonderful walk around the shop and nursery, I really enjoyed talking plants with him. Len is the owner, he and Julio have a radio show as well, so you don’t want to miss that!

So much to enjoy. Sandy Martino the manager is lovely and does an amazing job decking the halls from top to bottom along with Becky. You can just feel the love they pour into their designs. Be sure to stop by now for some wonderful Christmas gifts. Plants, greens, trees, candles, ornaments. All very beautiful and on sale now! I couldn’t resist picking up a beautiful white cyclamen, a poinsettia, and some gorgeous ornaments, I show those at the end of the video.

Some interesting nostalgia for all those in New Jersey. Sandy Martino at Bloomers is the niece of Ralph Gaudio, owner of Gaudio’s. Note: Bloomers and Gaudio’s are not connected in a business sense. Please be sure to to watch until the end where you will see a video clip that Sandy shared with me of a little tour of the Gaudio’s display just like I remember, memory lane for me. My parents would get my 2 older brothers and I bundled up in our Christmas PJ’s and we would head over to our local Gaudio’s to see the Christmas display. I think it just shows how special these local nurseries are, transcending generations. Magic memories. Merry Christmas to all!
